Help Major issue with latest update

I got the latest update yesterday and since then my entire digitizer and touch buttons will not work. I did a hard reset thinking this would fix the issue, but it didnt.
 
I also got the update and then could not use the touch screen. I had 4.2 and was told by ATT that I received 4.4.2. Did a factory reset per Samsung, which only erased everything I had on my phone and still had no touch ability. Now what? I was told to flash the phone via bestbuy but not sure if that would help. I can not use Wi-Fi at my work, where this happened. The update said it was to do the update over Wi-Fi and therefore should not have even begun the update. Att thinks the update is corrupt. I have 2 of these phones so when get home, will switch my sim card to the other phone. An odd thing also to note, is the IMEI IN the phone said one number (older phone) while doing *#06# read the newer IMEI, from the other phone, wondering if that has anything to do with the problem. This is the Galaxy Mega 6.3. I had originally dropped, cracked the first phone screen. Got a new phone, ultimately was also cracked by my puppy. So when I bought replacement digitizers and replaced both screens, all was good. I had one active sim card so that sim card is in the phone that got the update (the older first phone), and will see what happens when I get the newer phone back in service. I will post the results but fear that it too will update (will have Wi-Fi at home) and am worried that both phones will no longer work. I had gotten screwed over somewhat by ATT who failed to place insurance on either one of these phones when I bought them, so I had no choice but to repair the screens myself, rather than pay $269 for one replacement, I paid $150 for both replacements. Using insurance when have been a bad choice anyway since the deductible is what you pay for the phone at purchase, the second one I paid (still paying) full price.

I bought a mega because I was tired of the greed of apple,boy was I wrong,samsung is way worse!!!!!!!!!!!!charge 600.00 for a phone that the screen breaks easily then want 300.00 for a new screen?wow!!So I bought a new screen on ebay for 60.00 and they swore it was origional and it worked well for a few hours then samsung said a update was downloaded and ready to install so I did,big mistake!!!If I buy a gm car do I have to by gm tires!!!!!!!!!can samsung dictate that I have to buy there crazy priced screen or they disable the phone they charged me 600.00 for?I will never buy samsung again and will tell everyone whom asks not also,shame on samsjunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
