Help major issues with brand new droid razr hd.

I just received a droid RAZR HD. I pulled my 32 gig sdcard out of my old lg l75c after backing up my contacts. I installed the SD card on my new moto, and everything is missing. The card didn't format because storage settings show 15 gig of usage on the card, but oil file manager doesn't show anything that should be present. Also, the two USB modes supplied with the phone give me no method to mount the card as I am on Linux. I can't use the be SMTP program installer that it comes up with. Where the heck is all my data?

And for some reason it randomly replaces words I type. Oi file manager and mtp

sounds like the data is there, but the phone doesn't recognize it and plugging in to linux does you no good. time to find a windows pc, or use an adapter to plug your card into the computer directly.
