major issues with market and SD card! help?

Hey!
I'm new and I've been reading everything you guys have to say and it's awesome to know that i'm not the only one with issues :D
so i have a diel 5" android 2.2 wondermedia wm8650 and i have some major issues... i got a microSD card like the manual which was in very bad english told me to do and it was too small. i took it to an electronics store and they told me i needed another sort of memory card. of course i've forgot what it's called and i feel like an idiot.
also, i luckily have market on my tablet, BUT... when i look for something by name it looks for anything but. it's really annoying and it's making me very frustrated and i don't know how to fix it. any ideas?
 
If your tablet were a 7 inch tablet, I would say to try switching firmware to http://techknow.freeforums.org/ uberoid-wm8650-1-3-0-hybrid-honeycombmod-v6-3-final-t801.html (remove space to get actual link)

However, I do not know if your 5inch tablet will work. There is ONE 5 inch tablet listed, I can't say if that is yours. You should post and ask on that site to see which firmware you should try.

If you do not need a microSD then you need a MiniSD.

Android market likes to ignore what you type and show you all sorts of pointless crap. Hopefully you have the real android market instead of the chinese one.
 
I have problem to download game at market with this machine. always come out unsuccessful download. What I need do? I already register my gmail account to access but still not success, please help me.

i'm having same problem. if anyone has a solution please keep me posted. i want the android market to believe it is not just a calculator.
 
the error is is probably receiving is "yadayada App download was unsuccessful". I have not been able to download a single app either.
