Make a link to a homepage into an icon on homescreen?

Hi all

I was wondering; is it possible to make a link to a homepage into an icon that can be put on the homescreen? I have a desire.

Long press on the screen -> select shortcuts -> bookmark->select the site you want-> click on the icon to change it (it takes you to the gallery) -> press OK

You can do this through anycut, bettercut, appsorganizer, folder organzier, desktop visualizer etc.
