Make albums a subcategory of artists?

I've just got android today so I apologies if this is obvious...

I want to be able to pick the artist first and then be presented with a list of their albums rather than all their individual tracks. It makes much more sense to the way I choose the music I listen to.

Is this possible?

On my DX, it works just like you described. I use the artist tab and when selected it shows me the albums. I then have to select an album to see the individual songs for that album.

I'm using whatever stock player comes on the DX (not sure if it's unique to the device), I have my ID3 tags set correctly and have each album in it's own folder. Don't know if these are contributing factors or not.

I've got a Galaxy S if that helps. I thought they'd all be the same.

I've got stuff tagged properly and everything is in it's own folder too.
