Apps make apps and games

Im quite new to android OS but have over three years ga,es/app developement/programming experience. I am interested in making apps for the ANdroid esp the HTC Desire.

Now i want to know how easy is it, which language or programs do you use, what is it similar to e.g. VB, C++ etc...

I have some great ideas for apps and games and if anyone is interested i would be interested in working as partnership to make apps both paid and free. What I would provide is, graphics, ideas, content beta testing and promotion/marketing. The Android SDK is nothing more than a bunch of APIs for the Java programming language. It also uses XML for the layouts. Most people use the Eclipse IDE to make their apps, but some opt to use the Netbeans IDE.
