Makes you go, "huh.." - Record Samsung Profits

I know the explanation for Samsung's just announced record profits is that other sectors of their business did well, despite their catastrophic odyssey with the Note 7. Still, at first glance, it smells strange, at best. If, sometime down the road here, some associated scandal comes to light, it would not come as a surprise to me. And if all really is well, then great.

I can't believe they're staying on schedule with a Note 8 release. I thought the would release around US tax refund season. HTC does that but they're releasing mid-range phones this year.

Mid-range? We can't possibly know, for sure, until tomorrow, and who knows if they will even publish their entire line up or road map for the next 3 months, let alone the entire year...
We don't even know what the whole 'U' thing could even pertain to. It could be something phone-related for VR, an accessory, or even a service. (something else besides a phone/s)
We wont' know until they talk
