Help Malware app

I recently installed a weather app, I *think* it was called cool weather HD. I say think because when it shows up in the the active maps all I can see is cool weather. However, it doesn't show up in in my downloaded, running, or all list in settings. I've gone to the play store and looked up not only that name but other app names that have identified with a reverse image search.

The part that really concerns me about this is I'm confident this app is causing random forced pop up adds on my phone, and I can't even find the thing to get ride of it. I'm not against doing a factory reset but as with anyone, would like to avoid that if possible. Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, I'm running 4.4.4 on a droid turbo.
 
I DL'd it just from the play store. I'll admit i didn't do my normal due diligence when I did.

I'll give that a look.
 
Thanks for the advice. The addon finder found the app, it was listed as systems (still didn't show up on my apps list, but that fine).
