Help Managed Provisioning feature is not available in ZTE-T84 device

Hi all,

I am trying to provision the ZTE-T84 device as "Profile Owner", which was supported from Android 5.0 and above to documentation. But even though the device ZTE-T84 is on version 5.0.2, i am unable to provision this as Profile owner.

I am following this document https://developer.android.com/training/enterprise/work-policy-ctrl.html#create_profile for managed provisioning where the first check FEATURE_MANAGED_USERS itself seems not available.

Is this functionality was intentionally removed by ZTE in their custom Android OS, or else am i missing something, please help.

I can't find much info on the T84, sorry.

It's not uncommon for manufacturers to nerf Android features so it wouldn't surprise me if they removed the profile owner option.

Hopefully someone else with the device will be able to chime in and confirm though.
