Manual...Automatic?

I see everyone here is manually updating to Cupcake through the link.
My question is, the update will come through the phone automatically sometime this week, so I don't really have to do that, right? Just wait?
Silly question, I know. But thanks. :cool:

I don't know about "this week", but you will get in the next week or so. The timeline was pushed back a week, Everyone was supposed to get it before the end of May, so I think it's probably a safe bet that you'll get it by the end of the first week of June.

But to be clear, yes, you are correct, you do not have to manually update. Some people are just impatient.
 
ok I have 2 question. i have if I update my phone manual will i still get the OTA? the second questiong being after i do the manual update can i delete the zip file form my sd card and still keep the cupcake update.

no u wont get 1.5 ota but u will get the next one when ever it comes out.
also once u updated u can delete the zip from ur sd
