Manual update versus OTA why does there seem to be a difference

Ok so I got my update OTA finally, kind of disappointed. I have seen Youtube video's of manually updated 2.1 phones where the tray is different, 3 extra screens, I mean it just looks better all the way. I want to know where the HELL are my extra screens, where is my cool new tray? And my firmware say's 2.1-update 1 is there a second update?

Helix launcher (free app) will get you anywhere from 1-7 screens if thats all you want. Its on the android market.

I have seen the same pics and vids you saw, and as the previous response indicates, those users are running Helix. I downloaded it from the market and love it.

Launcher+ give you 7 screens as well. Runs perfectly.
