Manual

Not showing yet on the Asus site. I think the product release is pegged for 4/18 in Europe, so perhaps early May for NA?

Yeah, seemed odd no manual. Redmist, you didn't get yours from one of those shady stores near Rathbone St, did you? I remember a Game Exchange down that way.... Pubs too.

Anyhoo, they confirm full USB host :) Just wish one of them were on the tab itself :(

I noticed a few things:

1. It doesn't mention if the proprietary USB port/cable on the tablet itself will trickle charge when plugged into a PC. Can anybody confirm whether or not this is the case?

2. It says the battery will reach full capacity after a few full charge/discharge cycles. I thought that notion was dispelled for lithium ion batteries...

LOL

Well it's not that there was NO manual, just a tiny leaflet. Not what I would call a manual.

Mine came with the same items as the video, the manual they include is useless, You would expect at least a 30 page or more manual with a device like this. And for the price you think they would have game a bit more than they did, I would have liked to see a nice set of headphones, maybe a nice adapter for USB for the people without the dock. and for them to spend a few dollars more extending there super short USB charging cord...lol

"for the price"?

The Transformer is $100 less than the iPad, Xoom, etc... which all don't come with headphones or USB adapters.

The charging cord IS disappointing- I had to spring $5 for a USB extension cable.

As far as the Instruction manual, Google has info online. Google is responsible for Android, if they published a manual it would be out of date within just a few months.

ASUS published the manual to tell you how to use the TRANSFORMER, not how to use Android.
