Maps update messed up my navigation

I downloaded the Goggle Maps update (4.1.1) at work this morning. On the way home I thought I'd try it out, what a mess. It paralleled me on the highway far enough off that it kept "rerouting" me to get me on the highway I was on. So, I stopped, rebooted and tried it again, same results. Thanks to Astro, I reinstalled the previous version and all is good again. Anybody else seeing this problem?

I used it yesterday with the update and didn't notice any major differences. When I was on the feeder road it told me when to merge on the highway and the same for exit ramps. Maybe the only difference which I haven't noticed before is that it tells me to slide to left when I'm turning. or making a U-turn.

What the hell is slide to the left?

Yea it's running on 2.1

OK, I'll try it a gain in a day or two. On maps it is spot on but looking at the road on Navigate, it is not staying true to the highway. Maybe GPS on navigate needs recal if possible. Thanks for the input though.

Just in case anyone has been reading this. After the latest Google Earth update I reloaded the Google Maps update and tested it on navigation and it's spot on. So, it may have been nothing but for now it is all working fine.

I was having serious problems with maps after the update came out. It took 20 mins for the phone to pull gps co-ords into the nav portion of the program. I have not been satisfied with the program after the 4.1 update. I have not tried it within the last week I'll have to give it another go.
