Market not showing apps, new activation

My friend activated a Moto Droid over the weekend and when she goes to the market it shows none of the apps on the phone. I just did a factory reset and still nothing? It only shows 1 app that she installed, none of the pre-installed apps (FB, Gmail etc). Any idea what to do? Thanks.

Preinstalled apps may not show up in the market. Are you sure the phone is connected to a gmail account?

Yes, she's signed in properly.
I know they all won't show but there is nothing there. It's empty save that one app. Just seems odd...

On my MetroPCS Optimus M, none of the preinstalled apps show either. If you are worried about updates, then go to the app in the market and it will allow an update. It would then be linked to the market and receive new updates.

I updated a few for her and they show now. I guess I thought they would be there waiting to be updated.
