A screen-shot would be helpful, but I'll take a shot at this.
Your Google account credentials might be corrupted. Go into "Manage apps" and clear cache/data for Google Account Manager , Google Play services, and Google Play Store. Do these one at a time, rebooting immediately after each try. One of these will likely resolve your problem.
Note: You may have to re-enter your Google account and sync info as a result.
