I was a huge lover of the Google books and newsstand apps but have found a huge data problem caused by these apps and had to disable them. For example if I upload a epub book to play books of say 100k size when I then download the book back to the device to read it will take an age to download and if I go into app info I can see the data go well into the gigabytes. Yesterday I did a clean new trial of newsstand and downloading 1 magazine from the store resulted in over 4gigs of data being used by the app! Have tried factory reset and clearing data all to no avail. Any ideas would be great as I do like the apps but they are unusable under these circumstances. Thanks in advance. Phone is galaxy s5.
