Match address to phone

I'm not sure i understand. Are you trying to find out if the person still lives at the address you have? If so, that would be impossible unless you have an outside directory like a phone book which is up to date, otherwise you can't just search for a number and see the address.

You could go the old fashioned route and post them a letter asking for their phone number
Have you tried the White Pages?
Directory enquiries, if anybody still allows their numbers to be listed (it fell below 50% in the UK decades ago).
BT still provide an online directory in the UK:-

Thanks,. I have tried WP but they want to charge for everything. I'm not trying to find out if a preschool teacher is a career criminal, just basic contact information. Psionandy, you are beyond right about the dear old telephone books. The last one I saw was maybe a year ago, and wasn't that yellow pages? Back in the day there was one telephone company, they owned all the equipment, and if you for some unimaginable reason actually wanted to remove the thing, you probably would have had to tear down the building.

I't also amazing how much information out there is wrong. I just searched my full name it I found several listings that have me living at my mother's address from 1984 - 2001.
I did live at that address from 1972 until 1979 but I rented from '79 until '84. I bought a house and was married in 1985 and never moved back. I did sell that house in 2002 as executor of my mother's estate after she passed away.
The same site that had this misinformation also listed the address of the house I bought in '85 but it listed me as living there in the '70s.
I found much more about me that had some semi-valid information but wrong in the details ... like an incorrect middle initial, or listing current phone numbers as past employer's phone numbers.
