Maximizing battery life/usage

hey all,

when it comes to the battery's longevity, does it matter whether you periodically charge whenever you can, or should you drain the battery as much possible before fully charging again?

Don't worry about charging your phone, do it without any special tricks or treatments.

Charge when you feel like it.

Don't force it to zero, shut down when very hot.
