Apps Maximum length of browser password

Hi all, i hope this is the best part of the forum to ask this.

Im having problems logging into Hotmail from my HTC desire through both 3G and WiFi. Ive recently found the possible source of the problem.

While using both the Orange Browser and Dolphin Browser HD the password field is not long enough for my password, i can not input the last 3 digits. I have also tried Opera Mini which does let me input the full password but i still can not log in. Is this a problem with the android OS rather than the browsers?

Hey i have the exact same problem. i had to change my hotmail passowrd just so it would fit. now i try to sign onto my university website which requires an 8 character pw atleast but my browser doesnt allow over 5... tried diff browsers no help.

I just went to hotmail.com and was able to enter an 8 digit password...Dolphin HD. Perhaps clear your cache, reboot.
