Help MAXX HD battery kill

well i can have my phone off and go to bed with about 70% battery when i wake up its down to 40% sometime, it used to not do that and i have not done anything different with it. what could be going on? only thing i see that is using battery is Android OS, which did not have before very much. i've got wifi and gps all turned off so i dont know what it is. any help? thanks

Are you using backup assistant? I accidentally activated it and it sucked my battery dry...needless to say, I figured out what it was and stopped it from running.

said you turned wifi off. if you don't have a good cell signal, searching for tower signal will burn batt up too. A good wifi signal is a good way to preserve batt!!

i've got a cell booster and had no issues with signal so i dont think that is it, i d/k about back up assistant i will check i know i constantly get some notifications about? how can i check it bc i think i looked before and couldnt figure it out. thanks

I disabled the Synch Service (the Verizon Cloud).

I personally found that Google Now was draining my battery something fierce. So I turned it off and my battery lasted great (like I was previously used to).

well after much looking i found an app that really saves my battery alot and was just wondering does anyone else use it bc i hadnt heard of it being discussed. the app is EASY BATTERY SAVER it has different modes to which you can switch to depending on how much saving you want. looks like when phone is in idle though it really saves and i keep mine like that like at work so working great for me. just wanted some opinions on the app thanks

i've tried all kinds of actions with the smart actions app and havent had much success with them at all d/k if its just me or what but this is working way battery and really shows when look at what all is using up battery

I suggest you download Wake Lock Detector from Play. It will help pinpoint which app is draining your battery if the regular battery stats don't point you in the right direction.

For me, my three MS Exchange accounts using push were recently the biggest battery drain. I switched two to wifi only every 4 hours because they only hold shared contacts which don't change often. The other I put on a 2 hour schedule. My battery now drains at 1% per hour. In other words, with use of phone, email, text, bt and wifi, my RHDM went nine hours and used 9% battery.

Here's a really amazing one. I put a used battery in an old Incredible and left it on for a week doing nothing. The battery only used 50%.
