Help Maxx HD charging port broke

Hello everyone. I made a new account on this forum to get some feedback. I have the droid razr maxx HD. I'm not sure how, but the charging pins in my port broke. I can get a new phone from an upgrade, but I would like to back transfer all my contacts and such. How can I go about charging my phone to do this? I've taken it to a few places including Verizon and they all said nothing can be done since the port is soldered into the phone. The phone does not have a warranty or anything.

Unfortunately the older Maxx is not Qi ready, the newer one is. Surgery may allow you to get either a new plug put in or a way to at least get a charge on it while it is apart but this would be a drastic option.
