May return phone- should I remove apps first?

I am having some problems with my phone (LG Ally) and am considering returning it before my one month trial is up. Should I remove my apps prior to returning? I'm specifically concerned about PDAnet since Verizon prohibits tethering. Advice?

if you decide to do that just perform the factory reset and it will erase all your installed apps, your user accounts, contacts etc.
