Help Mbox2 no sound

Hello I got a problem lol.
Yesterday my mbox2 was working fine.later in the day I come home and the sound on my mbox was not working. Our mbox uses a hdmi cable that runs to the hdmi 1 port on our lg tv. The tv itself has sound and the home theater system plays sound fine I even tried switching ports on the back of the tv and there was no sound still.is there anyway solution to this problem? Thanks alot:D

Please confirm that what your query is indeed about a 'Mbox 2' device. I could be wrong but it's a higher-end, audio interface box designed to work in conjunction with the Pro Tools software on a computer. I wasn't even aware a Mbox 2 even had a HDMI port (I helped with a mini-recording set up a while ago for a guitarist friend with a Mbox 2/Pro Tools).

Tried resetting it? If it doesn't work it may be hardware-faulty. I have a similar looking Android TV box and they're usually all the same with some differences in brand, box and the sort.

Unplug the box and leave the HDMI cable in then, stick something small in the AV hole and you will feel a button press and hold the button while connecting the power. Then the Android logo will show or whatever the initial boot screen shows. Mine shows Android then boots.

Then let go of the button after the Android logo or whatever shows. It'll boot into the recovery. From there factory reset and see if that helps. If not it's more then likely a hardware issue.

I just recently like within the last week was convinced by friends to get one and had issues the 2nd day to where it wouldn't power on. After i did the reset it worked fine and has been problem free since. I don't own the same box but most are similar as far as resetting one. I have the V88 Plus 4k cheap but worth the money to experiment. Only $33

I did reset the box but unfortunately same problem.i just purchased a new box but im not giving up on this one yet lol. Thanks guys for the help😊
