Media Control

So I just got an HTC Thunderbolt and I love being able to do a lot of the "cool" things my BB Storm could never do. For instance I have a 1TB drive hooked up to my Netgear wireless N router and I can watch movies that are stored on the 1TB drive right on my phone. One thing I am working on and having some issues with is being able to control my LG 47LE5400 TV with the LG Remote app I have found (cant get it to find the TV). I would like to do two things...
1) Control the TV itself with the Thunderbolt
2) Stream media FROM phone to LG 47LE5400

Any ideas or suggestions on apps or what would be needed to do this?

Hard to say other than contacting LG for support. I would imagine there is an email address listed next to the app in the Market or mayhaps try their website. Unfortunately with such a specific TV, I'm not sure you'll have much luck finding an answer here, although you never know, AF is a huge community
