Media File Not Supported?!

Hello, I've been having trouble playing back videos. They're videos in my gallery and none of them will play, I've tried everything, all it says is "media file not supported" even though they are videos I have taken on my camera?! Help?!

Getting another video player is just going to avoid the problem, I want to resolve it. My phone shouldn't be doing this especially for videos that the camera records

Specifically, what player are you using?

Also, the files may be corrupt somehow. Have you tried exporting the files and playing them on your PC?

The default player that a HTC One has, the one that should work, and no I haven't tried that as the files should work

Are files on phone memory or SD card? Many including myself have experienced issues with playback of large media files on the default player if files were on the SD card.
