Sorry for the lack of a proper introduction, but I have a BLU Studio 6.0HD that I tried plugging into my dad's Kenwood stereo receiver through the USB port. I think it caused a major headache for me. When it was plugged in, it kept cycling as a USB device and couldn't get it to work with the receiver. I didn't think it was a huge problem. I use the phone as my alarm, and when it went off this morning, the sound was all scratchy for a few seconds before it finally went to its regular playback. I didn't think anything of it.
Then, earlier tonight, I went to watch a video from a link a friend sent me (a YouTube video that opened in the app) and it was playing in fast forward with no sound. I thought it was an issue with the app, so I closed it and force stopped the application, but to no avail. I then tried playing back media stored directly on the phone. Music, for instance, would look like it's playing in fast forward, but no sound would come out.
I've tried a soft reset of the phone, and I can't take the battery out, as it's fixed. After thinking about it, I figured that it had to do with the problems and weird symptoms I came across when I plugged it into that radio. I then decided to see what would happen if I plugged it into my computer instead. It doesn't do any weird USB mode cycling, but what it does do is say that the phone is "Connected to a USB accessory" and won't let me switch USB modes. Even putting it into USB debugging, it won't allow me to access anything to make it recognize the computer as a computer, and because of that, the computer won't recognize the phone.
I hope someone can help. I don't really want to do a hard reset, but I think I might, and if so, I really hope that solves the problem. If it doesn't, I'm going to be at a loss. If anyone knows a solution that works, please, let me know. I hope I provided enough information for a possible fix.
