Hi folks,
Hopefully someone here can help me out.. as I seem to be having a little trouble.
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy s i9000 phone approximately 2 weeks ago, I opted for this as the versatility of android is growing at a way faster pace than Apple's platform and so seemed to be the sensible choice.. at the time.
I have not however, after some deep digging and testing found a media player that suits my needs.
Here's the scenario:
I have an 8 gig inbuilt hard drive (that comes with the phone as standard) and an extra 32 gig media card (fits in the back, like the sim card)
What I require is a media player package that will let me sync my personal itunes playlists with my Galaxy on my "external" (32 gig) card and read them as shown in itunes.
At the moment, I've tried Winamp, easy phone tunes, songbird, and a few others and none of them do what I want, they either say they're syncing the playlist, then not actually show the playlist on the device, or sync the playlist, but only show the playlist if I've synced it on the internal 8 gig drive, or just generally do their own thing which is for all intents and purposes just as useless.
Mainly I have found this is because such software media players don't support the samsung galaxy, or external drives unfortunately.
the only package that has come close to what i require is doubletwist, however after screwing up my computer registry, I'm not a big fan of it.
can anyone perhaps recommend a package that will complete all the tasks?
Sync itunes playlists on the external 32gig drive, list them and play them, or perhaps across all drives..
An even better option would be an app to deceive the operating system into thinking that both drives were infact one drive then I think the stock Samsung media player would work just fine.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and for any good recommendations.
regards
Jon
