Media Scanner/Music Player problem (Samsung Infuse)

For a long time now (months), my Samsung Infuse has been having Media Scanner problems. When I start the phone (and at other, seemingly random times), it tries to run a Media Scan, but always fails (phone does the "error" vibrate thing). Any new music I add to the phone will not show up in the Music Player, but I can go to My Files and play each song directly from there.

I have tried formatting the SD Card, but it did not fix the problem. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Has no one else run into this issue before? I still have not found a solution.
