Media Scanning

First of all, sorry if this isn't posted in the good section but as you can see, this is my first post so I wasn't sure where to put it. I have a problem with media scanning, I have quite a few unwanted sounds in the play music app that came with games. Now, I did my research and I know of that .nomedia thingy, but it just didn't work (it did for the gallery but not for the play music). Any advice on what to do to get rid of them without actually deleting them? Thanks.

check the settings of that app. mite b an option to include or not include hidden files.

No, there isn't! Btw, I'm talking about the stock music player app(which changed his name for play music since the play store update)
