Hi there folkes

Please bare with me as im new to the forum and im a bit of a starter when it comes to these things.

I have an Android TV dongle.....a justop k9b to be exact, connected to this I have a 2tb harddrive with loads of movies and i use the 'Mizuu' app to watentertainments setup is fantastic and im well chuffed.

Heres my question.

Is there a way that I can browse and watch movies from this harddrive connected to the dongle....over my wireless network on another device...ie my phone or tablet.

This would be great as it would allow me to watch movies upstairs.

Cheers in advance

Matt

Looking at the device on Amazon, it appears that the device supports upnp. There are Android client apps for this.

My own tv set up uses Myth tv. On my Androids, I'm using skifta as the dnla/upnp client. This app just forwards the media to a player. MX Player is working fine for me in this role.
