also a sound notification
and be able to end your conversation

In thirty minutes, it signed me out twice. That pretty much sucks as far as I'm concerned. If it's got an audio alert, that's news to me, I've got my volume up and I can't hear a thing, and it doesn't make the message light flash either when sleeping. I looked for a place to set the alert, can't find one. Still doesn't save your login info. Also, starting up with your entire buddy list expanded is annoying and stupid. Everytime you leave the app and come back, POW they are all expanded, even if you collapsed them all.

I was excited to see the upgrade, but I can't really see any improvement.
 
i agree the auto sign off still sux but do u really need a sound alert? if ur using this phone for ya ims then i would imagine, like me, ur always looking at ya phone, and i can live with out away messages for now, my biggest tiff was u couldnt close conversations now u can, still more solid than the pteloaded aim
