Meebo Application

I really like the Meebo Application.

I think it's my favorite and most useful app.

It's so much better than using the Gtalk App, and the IM App that came with the phone. This consolidates my AIM, Yahoo, Gtalk, MSN, and even Facebook chat.

It can always be on and alert you via the main notifications when you get a message.

I find it best to first create an account online at Meebo.com .

This is another reason why Android Totally Rocks Over iPhone. On the iPhone, there is no Meebo App. They refer iPhone users to the Safari browser to use the mobile website version.

Never heard of Nimbuzz, but just checked it out here and here:

Seems interesting.

I've had a Meebo account for sometime, use it on the web as well. I'm sure there are others out there.

Tell me more about your experiences with this App, pro's, con's, etc.

Why use Skype on an Android phone?

Especially with the Google Voice and the Google Voice App.

However, those outside of the USA generally don't have Google Voice accounts.

Indeed we dont...did not think we could? The reason I like Nimbuzz is because I can use all my IM accounts all together in one App i.e. google talk, msn, skype and loads more. Its one of the few apps that include Skype. I am not talking about Skype calls as it does not have that feature but messenging.

Sounds great. In fact, it's more helpful that we're talking about other consolidated IM programs in the Apps forum. I hear Fring just came out with an App too.
