Mega Problems with samsung galaxy s2

I have just joined the forum,

and am having problems with my galaxy s2,yesterday i had to take it into the O2 shop because it would not connect to my new laptop in kies,the guru there checked it out and as well as not connecting to kies it also came up with a message saying that there was no sim card installed,when there was,it has now been taken in for repair under warranty
heres hoping
