Ok, I've looked and looked and read and searched to no avail. So it's time to ask.......

sch-i500 Mesmerize on U.S. Cellular, rooted, 2.3.4. GB EH09.
I know this is an older phone, and not as "active" as it used to be but it still works and I'm not ready to replace it yet.

I'm looking to flash the ROM for some improved performance. To that end I'm wanting to be "prepared" to be able to "undo" before I "do", if you know what I mean........
I've downloaded and have ready:
Stock Rom package,
Pre-rooted stock rom package,
Rom package I want to install,
cwm for rooting.

I've written down all(hopefully) my ID information.

I've rooted and done a nandroid backup and copied it to the pc for redundancy.

I've tried Efs Professional to backup the information I'm looking to save but it doesn't work with the Mez. The Qualcomm option won't see the phone either to get the information(or to be able to put it back if needed).

I've done a lot of reading on what I'm planning to do and what I have not been able to find is "where/how" to manually re-enter my phone # and MEID # if it happens to get wiped out with the rom flash.

I pretty sure the information can be entered from the dial pad(after all they did it at the store), but what I don't know, cant find is the dial pad access codes or the correct security pin #'s for the Mesmerize. 99.9% of what I've been able to find online has been for the Fascinate, and they don't all work on the Mez.

Surely the information is stored in a file somewhere on the phone, if so I haven't been able to find it yet. I've read online about the hidden "efs" file folder but it doesn't exist on the Mez. If someone knows what/where the file is located at I'd appreciate if you would share it.
I have working Linux install available, not that I'm an expert with it, but I do use it from time to time.

Thanks in advance.
