Help Memory card for HTC One M8

Hi there

I'm looking to buy a memory card for my HTC One M8. As I understand, it takes up to 128GB, so I suppose no less will do. i have found one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product...act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

However, my question is whether this card is just a bit too much/expensive in relation to what my phone can utilise in terms of speed/features.

The M8 isn't a new phone, I think it won't work faster than Class 10 specs. In other words it can't take the full advantage of a latest and expensive SD card.

If you can afford the SD card mentioned above, go for it. You could use that SD card for your next phone.

If you wonder why, my logic is very simple, a SD card usually lasts at least 10 years while your phone probably won't pass its third years. The screen size and the non removable battery of the M8 don't help keeping its value longer than the next two years.
