memory cleanup of hard drive

How do I cleanup my system of useless junk information without doing a total wipeout of everything? The main things I need gone are all these USELESS pre-installed apps that the factory puts on the thing
 
Unfortunately, there is no way (short of rooting your phone) to remove pre-installed applications.
A factory reset will only remove all of your data and apps, leaving the factory apps and programs.
