Hello i brought a Samsung galaxy ace phone not long ago and i have a 2GB memory card for it that came with the phone but my phone keeps saying that my internal memory is getting low i only have 2 apps on my phone (pou and 4 pics 1 word) and its already full someone i know has a 2gb memory card and has pages and pages of apps can anyone suggest why i can only have 2 apps on my phone thanks :confused:

That's because the someone else you are talking about either has a rooted samsung ace or some other samsung phone.
Apps are stored on the internal memory and this phone has a very low internal memory, so it does not matter how much sd card you have, although there are some apps that can be moved to the sd card, try to move some apps to sd card from the settings menu.

The person I know has exactly the phone as me and the only 2 apps I have on my phone are on my sd card the rest of the things on.my phone cant be transferd over they were already on my phone do you know anything rlse that could be causing all of this

Well then that phone must be rooted, because there is no other way you can put that many apps on this phone.
Its actually quite normal for this phone, it does not have any space to put many apps in. Makes the smartphone pretty useless without apps.
You can do small things like clearing cache every few days, remove unnecessary apps, clear the app's data which is not useful to you etc etc, but its all temporary and not much helpful.
If you want a permanent solution then you will have to root your phone, and that means voiding your warranty and everything you will do further will be on your own risk. But in my opinion, its totally worth it.

Hello its not under warranty anyway as i brought it from someone how do you root a phone and what difference do it make to the phone thanks :)

Rooting allows you to access the system files of the android operating system, you can modify them or alter them in any way you like.
For example, you need more memory, so you create a partition on your sd card and you modify your system to use that partition as internal memory, so in short the size of your memory would be the size of the partition you create on the sd card, hence the memory problem is solved.
Search about this, there is a lot of data available.
