Help Memory Stick Question

I was just curious about if my class 2 micro sd card is to slow to handle the data of a hd video recording because most of the time the audio and video in unsynced and I would think that is because the card cant keep up with the write speeds and the sd card is pretty full of stuff also its 16 gigs with 3. something left but Id like to know all your opionions if maybe a class 4 or higher could fix tht?

Just to clarify, its a Micro SD card, not a Memory Stick. Sony has nothing to do with these phones.

The 16GB card that comes with your phone is class 2. A class 4 will certainly transfer data at higher speeds.

the thing with cards is. A slower card does better with small files, large files works better with higher class cards.

Depending on the majority of your needs running a class 10 card but only transferring small files can actually hurt performance.

Also one companies class 4 can be another's class 10. Be very careful checking specifications.

Arent you also at the mercy of the max data transfer rate of the firmware of the phone?
It would be like having a 1" water hose connected to the faucet that's only fed with a 1/2" line. you are still only going to get the max flow of the smallest line.
