Men's Health Has Arrived on Android!

I have just got this and not only does it have any muscle workout with full photos and written instructions to show you how to do each workout, but it also has a log that you can save to keep a track of your progress.

This is strides ahead of any other gym guide on Android as with the photos showing the user how to do each workout, it makes it far more worth the money of a quid.

I downloaded this on Monday and I really like the workouts. I tried out one of them that afternoon. The only problem I had is I'm not sure why my log from Monday didn't save. There must be some very specific way you have to enter everything to get it to take.

Regardless, I really like the program, there's a lot of variety.

Yep your right the logs dont seem to work! For some reason when you go into the workout bits themselves the log is there but just not when you view it as a whole. Have you tried the email log function? It would be a great app if the logs saved as it can be saved as an Excel file

I haven't done the email function, I plan on doing another one of the routines tomorrow. The log functions definitely need some improvement, Excel would be nice but really anything that kept better track of what you've been doing at a main screen so you can see what progress you are making.

I also wish it had a better timer function. The workout I did has 5 different exercises you are supposed to do for 1 minute each, no rest between the 5, then rest 2 minutes, then do them over again, 3 times total. I have clocks at my gym but it's a bit difficult to be doing pushups and looking at a clock. It would be nice if it beeped or something after the minute. Basically they need a bit better integration of timing and logging functions. Having to go into a second screen for the logs is a pain especially for that particular workout since you really shouldn't be stopping and entering info which is basically resting, except for that 2 minute period.

yes, it does, and weights like 12MB, but I like it

The market says it's 16.7 mb!! Even 12 mb is more than I could spare. Anyway to put some of the info on the SD card--or does it all have to reside on the phone...If it's really that big of a file for the app alone, it's a deal-breaker for me even though it sounds like an amazing app that I'd be happy to pay for.
