Help Menu ad back button not working

Since last couple of days my back and menu buttons doesn't work anymore When I press it, nothing happens.I tried restarting the phone couple of times...also did the factory reset (thru phone settings).... any suggestions as it has become quite irritating using the phone without these buttons ?

I have the same problem with mine,tried a factory reset,and upgraded the firmware,still not working.
