Mercedes-Benz joins the Open Automative Alliance, paving the way for Android Auto in their cars

One of the major car manufacturers in Germany is finally getting on the Android Auto train. The company has been added to the list of manufacturers in the Open Automotive Alliance. Their German neighbors BMW, however, are still notably missing. There is no information yet on the company's plans to add the technology to their cars, but this is the first step to seeing that happen at some point down the line.
