Help Merging duplicate contacts in one shot

Well-Known Member
I have micromax canvas 2+ phone model A110Q. It's running on android jellybean 4.2.1 version.

I recently synced my outlook, facebook and gmail contacts to my phone book using the sync facility. This made lot of duplicate entries with the same name. for example a guy named Dave Williams has 3 entries

2 for 2 email addresses

1 for phone number.

This has happned for lot of persons in my phone book. I have tried apps like Contacts+ and go contacts ex. But these apps allow me to merge contacts one by one. i.e. tickmarking contacts one by one and then merge. Is there a one click way to do this? i.e. selecting all duplicate contacts in one go and saving time?

For better exposure I moved your question (thread) to the area (forum) where issues with your phone are discussed.

Here it won't get better exposure sir in my opinion. My question was a general question and not phone related as it is a software/app/utility kind of question. This issue would be common in all the android phones. :S. Kindly move my topic where discussions like these are held so that my query can be answered as soon as possible. The reply rate of this forum is nice but unfortunately my question hasn't been answered yet. :(

Hi,

I have also a Micromax A110. And I also faced that problem at starting. I would suggest you to keep contact sync option OFF.
