Merging two accounts, need info please...

Hello all,
I am asking this here, cause I will probably get more help than the ******ed 4th graders that do the online live chat(sorry if you ever did that job-it just ticks me off). My wife and I have separate accounts, mine consisting of 450 minutes with rollover, and unlimited data plan with 15% premiere discount. Hers consists of 850 minutes with rollover, unlimited data and also a 15% discount. She wants to merge her account into mine to hopefully save money, but I am weary about doing it, because I don't want either of us to lose our unlimited data plans and we want to keep her number and on top of that make sure that she keeps her upgrade eligibility due in November. Is this possible to make it happen, or would it be best to just go up to the store and check? Figured someone here might know. Thanks for the info. Murph

Yeah you both can keep your unlimited data and she can keep her number. I think to close her account or yours whichever, one will have to do a transfer of responsibility. My cousin was on my plan then left to go on her own plan with her bf then came back to my plan. She kept her number and her data plan and her upgrade eligibility date was the same. If you dont have a family plan you will have to get one in order to have 2 or more lines share minutes. You will only get one of those 15% discounts, att doesn't allow stacking discounts. I would go to a corporate store to get this taken care of.

Yeah best buy,walmart etc are authorized sellers for att. If you go to the att website and search for locations the list should tell you which is a corporate location versus authorized seller.
