I have the Samsung Galaxy S5 and I have been trying to figure out how to receive text notifications on my lock screen that only include the sender's name instead of showing the message. I use the Message+ app (red/white icon), not the standard Message app (yellow/white opened envelope icon) and it seems like it's all or nothing with the lock screen notifications for this app. I am also trying to figure out how I can get a notification on my status bar that I have a text (by seeing the talk bubble icon) instead of having the text message scroll across the top of the screen before the talk bubble appears. The only information I can find on these issues is for the standard Galaxy S5 Message app that I am not using.
