Help Message Notification but no Message?

If any one knows how to fix this it would be great.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 keeps making message notification noise even though there are no messages or no emails, please help me why this happening... i tried everything but it doesn't stop... its not rapidly happening but about every 30 minutes it makes message notification noise... help me why is this happening?

Not sure if this matters but my phone has been flashed from sprint to metro pcs.
 
You'd try to look after this notifications with the app 'Notification History'.

Set up the app, leave it and wait for the next notification.
Open Notification History and look at the recent notifications.
Note, Notification History might list a lot of notifications, there are not only these on the list that be shown on the notification bar ;)

Samsung Galaxy S2:
I am also having this issue ?? Rooted Stock here... I have been receiving messages at random times, maybe four to ten a day/night. Extreemly irritating to say the least.
I Tried Harry's suggestion but there is no such thing as a history on this thingas I can see.? Any Other Help would be greatly appreciated. Please, Thanks.
 
I'm also experiencing this problem. I do not use the stock messaging app. Instead I use HandScent SMS. Every hour or so I see the icon in the notification bar. I go into HandScent SMS and I have no new messages.

Is this a glitch that we are going to have to deal with or is there a solution to this annoying glitch?
