Does anybody know how to turn off the CB on my text messages

I use Messages for my default SMS client. It doesn't do the annoying call back thing.

Who is your provider? Is it default Messaging app?

On my VW G6 in default Messaging app:

Settings
More (Storage, Link & send, etc.)
Link & send
Callback number - set to OFF.

I have two more G6 phones (used by wife and kid) but those phones are from Sprint and they have different Messaging app. I will check when I get home.

it was in the messages main menu not in the individual messages settings

Finally found it buried deep in the setting

On my LGK200 (Android 6.0.1)

• Open the messaging app (like you're going to type a new message)
• Click on the three dots in the upper right ...
• Click on settings
• Under Advanced, click on "Storage, Link & Send, etc."
• Click on Link & Send
• Set "Callback Number" to Off

On My unlocked LG G6 using Messaging; under Settings > Advanced > More > Storage, Link & send, etc. > Link & send I do not have the "Set Callback Number" option just Send message with Enter key and Signature On/Off.

I'm guessing this is a carrier locked phone only option???
