I have a galaxy s5 on Verizon and am using the stock message app not hangouts . When I try to send my boss pictures from out in the field the most I can send at one time is 2. if I choose more than 2 it says converting to multimedia message and the says file to large send via email of wifi. This is 2014 and I have the best phone available and I can only send 1 or 2 pictures at a time what's up with that . I don't have wifi in the field .it takes forever to send 15 or 20 pictures. I don't care about data usage .have 16 gigs a month.
Any fixes or suggestions
Thanks

I'm using MyMail instead of the stock app which I did not like.

I have not tried to send a bunch of pictures like you are doing.

If sending that many, I hope you have the camera set to a much smaller pixel size. If not, you will be using tons of data and taking a very long time to send the files.

I think for what you are doing, it would be much more efficient to send the whole folder at once via Hightail.

I have had Hightail (YouSendIt) for several years and it is fantastic for sending large files. Fault tolerance is great, will recover and start where it left off, etc.... You can set the file expiration date from hours to 'never'. Your choice.

If your boss is in the office with a computer, he should use this PC version.

Usually I just send the files or folder to myself and then only send the link to the files/folder in my emails to others.

If sending a lot of pictures as you are doing, tag the folder and drag that to Hightail. The folder will be automatically zipped into a single file. That way when the recipient downloads that link, they will have the folder at hand and all of the files will be inside that folder.

Otherwise, the files/pictures have to be downloaded one at a time. a big PITA.

far easier than sending multiple pictures via email.
