Messaging App Crash

I activated my sim today and now whenever I try to text people or make a group or anything through the messaging app it crashes and I can't do anything
 
Hi there,
Go to settings>storage>cached data>clear cached data,
Go to settings>storage>apps/application manager> message app> Force stop >clear data> uninstall/ uninstall update,
Open Google play store> menu> my Apps and games>library> reinstall app.
