Hello I am using lg x147 mobile buying 2 year before all apps run well but messaging only not opening solve problem

I'm understanding that the messaging app doesn't open?
Did you try restarting the phone?
What happens when you try opening it? Any errors? Did you try clearing the cache of the app? (Settings/ apps/ messaging /storage/ clear cache)
