Help Messed up touchscreen after charging

I'm using a Xiaomi 3.

Every single time, after charging, the touchscreen acts weirdly to the point that it's frustratingly annoying. Multi touch doesn't work, holding down on the screen will work for the first few seconds then unholds by itself even with my finger pressing down. Slides on screen don't work accurately at all.

I had to smear my screen with a small amount of water every time this happens to fix the problem.

Yes, I'm using an original charger came with the box upon delivery.

I read that if the plug on the end of your charger only has 2 prongs, it is not being grounded properly and that the cause is static as a result. It needs a 3 pin plug to prevent this
